The real deal is off the 7 train

Sripraphai
39th Ave at 65th Street (Woodside, Qns)

Alexis: I've been wanting to eat at Sripraphai for a long time. We finally made it out there this past Saturday with a group of about 10 and went buckwild. I can't remember everything we ate so I will just post these photos:

Crispy watercress salad with seafood
Crispy watercress salad with squid and shrimp

Fish cake
Fish cake with cucumber-peanut-onion-vinegar-chili sauce

Fried fish with Chili Sauce
Fried fish with sweet red chili sauce

Sweet sausage w/ tomatoes and veggies
Sweet sausage

Alexis: All in all, the food was awesome. Fresh ingredients and bright colors usually associated with southeast Asian cooking. However with such a big group we ended up ordering way too much because we were pretty much left to our own devices. There were at least 3-4 papaya and mango salads with various meats, 3 pork dishes and maybe 1 noodle dish too many. Next time, better organization would be better. It is a big task but someone's gotta do it (not me!). Especially if the food comes out all at once. It doesn't take too long so maybe order little by little...

Alexis: My favorite dishes - crispy chili pork, watercress salad, fried fish with chili sauce.
