Frat boy chicken

Beercan Chicken

Made this beercan chicken on Wednesday night for a small dinner party. You need one whole chicken and a can of beer; I used Pork Slap Ale.

Preheat oven to 350-375. Wash the chicken inside and out with water then pat dry. Prep your rub. I used paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, dried rosemary, cayenne pepper and a little Montreal steak seasoning. Open the can of beer and drink some or pour a little out. Put some of the rub seasonings into the can, and then poke more holes around the top. Carefully place the chicken over the beer can so that the can is supporting it as shown. It should be able to stand by itself. Rub some olive oil over the chicken and then apply the rub. Bake for one hour.

Easiest chicken ever, and very moist and flavorful.

Alex: Awww, Alexis loves me. Thanks for making something that I could eat instead of all the seafood. But the apartment still smelled like a whore house during fleet week for days after.
