Summer lovin

Blue Hill at Stone Barns
630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills, NY

If I do one thing this summer, I would love to eat here. Blue Hill at Stone Barns is a working farm, restaurant and educational center located in upstate New York. There is also a Greenwich Village location for travel-phobes but I am not one of those. This would be a great day trip.

After two meals there I think it's worth the hype. Like anywhere else, the kitchen can misfire, but the highs are really high. You should check out Ed Levine's recent write-up on Serious Eats if that's not what inspired this post. Awesome thanks! There was actually a flyer for a rooftop BBQ at Studio B that listed one of the chefs from there as a contributing grillmaster and I've been wanting to eat there. Glad to hear good things about it.

I am so with you on this one---Blue Hill in NYC is where we eat on our anniversary once a year in August-maybe it's time to take a drive.

I've never been to either - I am so excited for this! How's the NYC resto?
