Eatin good in the neighborhood

While searching for pizza joints close to us I came across this little gem. Amorina, in Prospect Heights, right on Vanderbilt and about a 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bike ride) from us. The prices are right and take a look at some of their thin crust pizza offerings:

Cappriciosa: fresh mozzarella, sausage, artichokes, green olives, mushrooms, rosemary
Prosciutto e Fichi: fresh mozzarella, parmigiano, figs, thyme, prosciutto crudo
Gorgonzola e Frutta: gorgonzola, figs, pears, honey
Norma: eggplant, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, ricotta salata, basil, mint

They also offer a small selection of pastas and salads, all of which sound delicious. The mozzarella is made locally and they deliver...but sadly not to us. Take out and an impromptu picnic in Prospect Park (con vino) might be in order. Que romantico!
