Alex: So we decided to go somewhere besides Egg for brunch on a lovely Sunday morning. We rode our bikes out there, dodging all the churchies. I had been to Moto before, but this was the first time for brunch. I ordered the crazy ass looking Pancake. It had Apples and a Crème Fresh? topping. It was a little burnt on the edges but that did not take away from the bad-assedness factor of this unusual Pancake. It was pretty much formed into a bowl to hold the toppings. With the Maple syrup on the side, this made for a sweet brunch treat.
Alexis: I've been wanting to come back here forever but since it's kind of out of the way for us (especially when Alex was sans bicyclette), and since we are early risers and it doesn't open until 11am, we never made it til now. The food is bomb. Seriously. House eggs in creamy tomato sauce were good and filling and the grilled bread w/ butter is perfect for dipping. Alex's pancake was really good also - later that night I was still craving it. Will have to go back before it starts to get cold. And before we move out of Brooklyn (nooooooo!)
