Mo' swine fo' dat azz
Last night my company had another team building dinner. We went to another traditional Frankfurt eatery in Sachsenhausen that had the Apfelwein flowin'. The spot was pretty cool, very crowded, and has a nice courtyard. The Apfelwein is a very traditional apple wine that is served in a Bembel. To be honest, it isn't the greatest and only clocks in at about 4% alcohol... weaksauce. I ordered the Rippchen which is a cured and smoked pork loin, Sauerkraut, and Potatoes. As you can see, it was a shitload of food... and I thought Americans were the gluttons!?!? The meat was pretty good, a little bland though. Sauerkraut is Sauerkraut, I can take it or leave it. But the Potatoes were bomb! I don't know what they put in them and how they cook them, but they were done to perfection. Slightly crispy, a little bit of onions, and a perfect blend of seasonings made the potatoes the highlight of the meal. Thanks for the grub m2p... im out dis beyotch!!
