394 Broadway (S. Williamsburg)
Met up with Laurea, David, Angel and Helen for brunch at this spot in South Williamsburg. It's in a weird spot, kind of in a center island where the road splits off - walking past it you would never know what's inside. It's a tiny spot with tables lining both sides and a small U-shaped bar in the back. Tea came in giant mugs. To share we had the grilled cinnamon donuts for starters. I ordered the Turkish breakfast, which had soppressata, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, Bulgarian feta, radishes and figs, all drizzled with olive oil. I was still on a coldcut kick from Europe. A fresh baguette would've been nice with it but other than that, I enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
After brunch we walked around Williamsburg. We ended up at McCarren Park with Mr. Softee twisty cones.
Perfect New York Sunday.
